Privacy Guardian cleans up private data for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera. At a specified interval-every three days by default-Privacy Guardian clears private data from your browsers. That’s a fancy name for a simple feature. When you select the menu item titled ActiveCare, it opens a page called Automatic Privacy Cleaning. It’s hard to see this as an iolo feature. OneSearch promises “No cookies, no profiling and ads that follow you.” Sounds great! And you can totally use its private search capabilities without ever involving Privacy Guardian.

When you click this menu item and then click the revealed search button, it simply opens OneSearch in your browser. Moving on, I dug into each of the major privacy components.īefore getting into the major components, however, let me mention the Private Search option. Selecting History got me a list showing that Privacy Guardian removed a boatload of cookies, history data, and other personal elements from my browsers.
